Melissa B. Hauber-Özer, CLiP Project Consultant
Melissa B. Hauber-Özer, M.Ed. is an adult literacy, English as a second language, and foreign language educator and curriculum developer. She has mentored pre-service teachers at the University of Pennsylvania and George Mason University and teaches a learning facilitator course for Jesuit Worldwide Learning. Melissa holds a graduate certificate in TESOL from La Salle University and an M.Ed. in World Language Education from Temple University and is currently completing a Ph.D. in International Education at George Mason University. Originally from Philadelphia, USA, Melissa lives in southern Turkey, where she researches educational access and equity for refugee students using critical participatory inquiry.
