As a community of refugee educators, we are acutely aware of the impact disruption has on children’s lives, on learning, and on well-being. Let’s do what we can as a collective to minimize the negative impacts and capitalize on the opportunities to learn, together, in this current moment.
The Refugee Educator Academy at the Center for Learning in Practice wants to ensure that refugee educators are connected to their global colleagues during this period of social distancing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please join us and each other on Zoom each Thursday at 11am EDT/3pm UTC to talk about what’s going on and what we can do to support each other and our communities. Bring questions, resources, ideas for self-care, techniques for outreach and connection with your students and families, anything and everything you want to discuss.
